70,000 health, safety, and environment records. Three sources. Five years of data. The question: could accidents be predicted before they happened? We built a prediction system combining qualitative text data and quantitative sensor data. Supervised classification, XGBoost, SVC, MLP, NLP (Word2Vec, TFIDF) — deployed on AWS SageMaker.
The data existed. The insight didn't. That gap is where this work lives.
